Kings Contrivance Village Center is a open air shopping center that opened in 1986. Tenants within the convenient and vibrant village center include, Harris Teeter, Trattoria E Pizzeria, Subway, Kings Contrivance Liquor, CVS, Master Barber, Kings Contrivance Cleaners, medical offices, an orthodontist office, an Allstate Insurance agency and much more.
The Village itself is conveniently located near Interstate 95, Route 32, and Route 29. The diverse community of Kings Contrivance is drawn to the village for many reasons to include its unique neighborhoods, many miles of beautiful pathways, the variety of restaurants and the interfaith campus. Amherst House, the location of the Kings Contrivance Community Association, is also in the village center. This building, named after Emily Dickinson's hometown in Massachusetts, also serves as a rental hall for community events, parties, and meetings.
